Three teenage girls in northern Germany were sexually harassed and assaulted by at least 30 immigrants in northern Germany on Thursday.
The incident took place Thursday evening in Kiel, the capital of Germany’s northernmost state, Schleswig-Holstein.
As the teenage girls ate dinner together they noticed some immigrant men taking pictures and videos of them.
According to the teenage girl’s police reports, the men appeared to be sending the videos and/or pictures to other people.
A few minutes later a group of at least 30 immigrant men showed up outside the restaurant.
At that point two of the girls ran from the restaurant and managed to get away from the group of men who tried to follow them.
When the two girls went back to look for their friend, the group of men began harassing them again.
“This is an incredible burden for those young girls and their families to bear,” State Minister of the Interior said. Most of the suspects are from Afghanistan, police reported.
The latest incident comes less than two months after hundreds of German women were sexually assaulted by large groups of immigrants in Cologne on New Year’s Eve.
The majority of the suspects in the Cologne sexual attacks will probably never be caught, officials say.
Germany is facing even more problems as hundreds of thousands more immigrants are marching north as the weather gets warmer.
