About a Dozen Vehicles Have Been Hit by Bullets and Other Projectiles on I-10 in Phoenix

Drivers are reporting being shot at while driving on a 14 mile stretch of I-10 in Phoenix, AZ.

Automobiles are being hit with everything from bullets, BBs to pellets. So far, there have been broken windows, pierced seats and other body damage to vehicles.

A teenage girl also sustained a cut to her right ear from broken glass. No other injuries have been reported at this time.

The Phoenix Police Department believes there are multiple shooters.  The police are not sure if these are coordinated attacks or if there are copycat shooters.

Multiple reports have come in about possible shooters on rooftops, overpasses, driving or riding in vehicles and even someone standing right on the side of the freeway pointing a gun at drivers.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety confirmed they have detained and questioned one person of Interest in the I-10 shootings, but said they are still looking for suspects.
