A fleet of UFOs seen over a Japanese power station appear to have been captured on camera days earlier more than 6,000 miles away in the US.
Video footage of ten strange orbs drifting past smoke-billowing chimneys in Osaka, Japan, captured on July 29 soon went viral online, with claims it could be an ominous warning from an alien race.
Now it has emerged a shocked policeman caught an almost identical display on camera four days earlier on July 25 in near Milwaukee in Wisconsin.
It has prompted further speculation it could be alien craft surveying the globe.
Wisconsin police officer Gustavo Rojas, who posted his footage to Facebook, said he and his partner saw the lights also moving slowly in the sky, changing formation before disappearing.
His use of strong language in the video appears to show his shock at what he observed.
It is not exactly clear when the Osaka footage was taken, although it was uploaded to YouTube on July 29.
Some people have connected the two incidents, while others believe they are either hoaxes, or just Chinese lantern being sent up separately in the two areas.
The captain of an elite US Army parachute team, The Golden Knights, later came forward to say he believed it was his squad that was behind the Milwaukee sighting, as they were performing during a German festival in the city.
Staff Sgt Mick Koch said: “We wear seven sticks of pyro on our left foot in a very similar fashion to how we wear smoke.”
He said they jumped out together, in a single formation, before splitting up – leading to numerous “UFO” that night.
However, he could shed no light on the Osaka sighting, which so far, remains unsolved.
