Josh Duggar, the “19 Kids and Counting” star mired in a child molestation scandal earlier this year, is finding himself at the center of another scandal, this one involving the cheating website Ashley Madison.
Gawker reports that someone using a credit card belonging to a Joshua J. Duggar paid a total of $986.76 for two different monthly Ashley Madison subscriptions from February 2013 until May 2015.
The card had a billing address that matches the home in Fayetteville, Arkansas, owned by his grandmother Mary.
The residence was featured on the reality TV show “19 Kids and Counting,” about Duggar, a married father of four, his parents, his many siblings and the family’s embrace of conservative religious values.
The hackers, who go by the name The Impact Team, have accused the company of creating fake female profiles for its 90-percent male user base and keeping account information on file even after people paid $19 to have it completely deleted.
Nearly 10 gigabytes of data was dumped Tuesday night, including customer’s names, personal IP addresses, street addresses, phone numbers, and in some cases, sexual preferences.
